Secrets and tips to feeling your best for your photoshoot!


More important than looking good for your session is to FEEL amazing! Your photographer is going to be your main source of help on the day. Here are some tips on feeling confident for photos!

Don’t be afraid to ask questions, talk about your insecurities, and create a bond with your photographer. Don’t forget – we are experts with years of experience when it comes to boudoir photography and what flatters different body types! If you have a Pinterest board with inspo, share it with your photographer. If you have seen poses or images that you’d like to do on the day of your session, let your photographer know before or on the day.

Don’t be afraid to indulge in pampering yourself! Having your nails professionally done will boost your confidence way up! Have your hair cut and coloured a few days before so you can feel fresh and ready for the camera. Get a massage, do a float! These things will boost your confidence and make you feel relax and prepared.

Don’t forget to pamper your skin! In the weeks leading up to your shoot, exfoliate in the shower and use natural body creams to feel soft and glowy. A good face moisturiser helps keep it dewy and hydrated! Don’t forget to drink lots of water too.

Wear comfortable and baggy clothes on the day of your session. Don’t wear a bra as this can leave lines and indents on your skin!

Relax, and prepare to have a lot of fun! EVERYONE is nervous before their boudoir session, but you will feel comfortable in no time, and we always have a blast!
