Boudoir Experience Upper Coomera 🥰
Some women walk into my Upper Coomera studio knowing exactly what they want, and often it’s a boudoir experience resulting in photos that they can give to someone. They have a clear vision. A purpose. A plan.
Ms L was one of those women.
An actress, model, and someone with a strong presence online, she’s no stranger to being in front of the camera. Confidence? You’d assume she has it in abundance. Experience? Absolutely. But here’s something I’ve learned after photographing so many women; no matter how confident, how successful, or how comfortable someone seems on the outside, there is always another layer waiting to be uncovered.
And that’s where the magic happens. 💖
Ms L booked her session with a very specific goal in mind: to create a stunning, month-by-month calendar for her followers. Something beautiful. Something polished. Something her audience would absolutely love! And from the moment she arrived, she brought that energy with her. Professional, prepared, and ready to create.
But what I love most about sessions like this is what happens in between the shots. Because while the intention might start as something external, something for others, it often shifts into something much more personal. There’s a difference between performing confidence and feeling it in your bones.
And that’s the shift I started to see in Ms L as the shoot progressed. Especially when the angel wings came out! 😍
Now, let me tell you, these wings have a way of bringing out something special in women. But with Ms L… it was next level. It was like they belonged to her! The way she carried herself. The way she moved. The way her entire energy changed, it was effortless, powerful, almost otherworldly. She didn’t just wear the wings. She became one with them.
And in that moment, it wasn’t about the calendar. It wasn’t about the audience. It wasn’t even about the photos.
It was about her.
This is something I see all the time. Women come in for a reason, a gift for their partner, a wedding surprise, or in Ms L’s case, a creative project for her followers. But somewhere along the way, they realise something unexpected:

Not in a selfish way, but in a deeply necessary one. Because when you see yourself like this – confident, radiant, powerful, – it doesn’t just stay in the photos. It follows you home. It shows up in how you walk, how you speak, how you hold yourself in everyday life. Ms L may have started this session with her audience in mind, but what she walked away with was something much bigger. A deeper connection to herself. A renewed sense of confidence that wasn’t just “on” for the camera, but real, grounded, and lasting.
And that’s the part people don’t always expect.
We often think of boudoir as something we give. To a partner. To an audience. To someone else.
