Anonymous Photos on the Gold Coast 💖

One of the biggest fears I hear from women considering a boudoir shoot is this:

“But what happens to my photos after?”

And it’s such a valid question.

Because boudoir is intimate.
It’s vulnerable.
It’s deeply personal.

And for many women, the idea of their images being shared online, even if they look incredible, can feel a little, confronting.

That’s exactly why I offer something that so many of my clients absolutely love.

Choice.

Ms V came into her session knowing exactly what she wanted.

She wanted the experience.
She wanted to feel confident.
She wanted to see herself in a completely new light.

But when it came to sharing her images, she chose to keep things anonymous.

And that is not only okay, it’s incredibly common.

In fact, a lot of women opt for this exact level of privacy.

Especially those in professions like education, law, religion or corporate roles.
Or women who simply prefer to keep certain parts of their life just for themselves.

Because here’s the thing:

Boudoir is for you first. Always.

Not for social media.
Not for marketing.
Not for anyone else.

When you book a session with me, you are in complete control of your privacy.

You can choose:

100% private – Your images are for your eyes only. I don’t share a single photo anywhere.
Anonymous sharing – I can share selected images, but with no face and no identifying features (tattoos, birthmarks, anything recognisable is carefully cropped or edited out).
Full sharing – Your images can be used in all their beautiful glory across my website and social platforms.

There is no pressure. No expectation. No “right” choice.

Only what feels right for you.

Ms V chose anonymous sharing.

We were able to create something really special together, and her collection of photos looks exactly the same as someone who opts for full sharing.

Images that felt powerful and artistic…

The only difference is, her face or identifying features won’t be on display for all the internet to see.

And let me tell you, anonymous photos can be stunning.

There’s something incredibly alluring about anonymity.

The curves.
The angles.
The light.

It becomes less about who you are, and more about how the image feels.

And what’s important to me is that my future clients can envision themselves in a similar situation. That’s actually very  powerful.

Throughout her session, Ms V completely relaxed into the experience.

Because she knew without a doubt that she was safe.

That her boundaries would be respected.
That her comfort came first.
That nothing would ever be shared without her full consent.

And that level of trust changes everything.

She laughed. She leaned into the poses. She allowed herself to be seen—without fear or insecurity.

That’s the kind of freedom that infuses magic into a session.

I always say that confidence doesn’t come from forcing yourself into uncomfortable situations.

It comes from feeling safe enough to explore new ones.

And for many women, anonymous sharing is that perfect middle ground.

You get to:

Celebrate your body
Capture beautiful, empowering images
Step outside your comfort zone

…without sacrificing your privacy.

And from my perspective as a photographer, I truly appreciate every client who allows me to share even a small glimpse of their session.

Because representation matters.

The more images I can share, of different body types, different ages, different stories, the more women out there can see themselves reflected.

And they think:

“Maybe I could do this too.”

But—and this is important—that will never come at the expense of your comfort.

Your trust means everything to me, and I will always honour that.

Ms V, you were absolutely beautiful to photograph.

Your quiet confidence, your willingness to step into the experience while still honouring your boundaries, it was something really special.

Your images are powerful, elegant, and completely captivating.

So if you’ve been thinking about booking a boudoir session, but privacy has been holding you back…

Let this be your reassurance:

You don’t have to choose between feeling empowered and feeling safe.

You can have both.

You can be seen…
Without being recognised.

You can step into your confidence…
Without stepping outside your personal or ethical limits.

Because at the end of the day, this experience is yours.

Your body.
Your story.
Your boundaries.

And I’m here to honour every single one of them.

Always.
