Empowering Women Photography

Katey has had a rough few years. After two difficult childbirths, a horse riding accident that almost caused her to lose her arm and a PTSD diagnosis, she has emerged through it all stronger than ever. Katey has a history as a model, and she was excited to dust off her Bordellos for this shoot! She wore a purple and black corset and stockings, and she had a lovely purple colour through her hair. Throughout the last few years she’s had almost all possible colours in her hair, but she told me that purple is her favourite. After her riding accident I discovered the song “Rainbow” by Kesha, and every time I hear it it reminds me of Katey. She is the strongest and most inspiring woman I know, and I think if we all had her amazing spirit the world would be full of empowered and positive women!
