When Ms P walked into our Gold Coast boudoir studio for her bombshell boudoir shoot, she was laughing heartily and saying things like, “I can’t believe I’m actually doing this!”
But ohhh, did she do it.
From the moment she slipped into her first outfit, I knew we were in for a treat. This wasn’t going to be a shy and quiet session—this was going to be a party. And Ms P brought the confetti!
Her session was a bridal boudoir shoot, but don’t expect white satin and sweet whispers. Ms P isn’t your traditional bride—she’s bold, sassy, and completely unapologetic.
When I asked why she was doing this shoot, she replied that she’d escaped an an abusive marriage that she’d been in for over 20 years, and was now about to marry her soulmate. “I would never ever normally do this, but I want to feel like a Queen for the day,” she said.
For her outfits for this bombshell boudoir shoot, she chose lace in blue, black, and green (gorgeous choices for her fair skin and platinum locks), and finished the look with a fiery red lip that screamed Old Hollywood glamour.
And the best part? She didn’t take herself too seriously.
There were belly laughs, cheeky grins, and that glorious moment when she caught a glimpse of herself on the back of the camera and said, “Ooh, look at me!” with that perfect mix of disbelief and pride. It was magic.
This is what Ms P said about her experience:
“Firstly, I can’t thank you enough for an incredible morning. I’m utterly blown away with these photos and so glad I did this. It honestly has been an incredible experience. Thank you so much!”
Ms P started the bombshell boudoir shoot a little unsure—like most women do. But as she posed, played, and let loose, something shifted. The giggles were still there (always), but they were now backed by confidence. By the end of the session, she wasn’t just doing boudoir—she was living it.
She radiated joy, mischief, sensuality, and the kind of confidence that makes people sit up and take notice. Not because she was trying to be someone else, but because she was finally seeing herself. The way she smiled, the way she stood taller, the way she owned every curve—that was the transformation.
And isn’t that the point?
Boudoir should never feel like a test you have to pass. It’s not about perfect poses or trying to look like someone else. It’s about fun. It’s about feeling good in your skin. It’s about celebrating you—the way you laugh, the way you move, the way you light up when you remember that you’re allowed to take up space.
Ms P reminded us all that confidence doesn’t come from being flawless—it comes from being fearless. From saying yes to yourself, red lips and fancy curls. From doing something brave and discovering, mid-laugh, that you are absolutely, undeniably fabulous.
To Ms P: you may have started with, “I can’t believe I’m doing this,” but by the end, I couldn’t believe you ever doubted it. You’re a bombshell bride, a laughter queen, and an absolute force of nature!
