Ben & Natasha got married at the stunning wedding venue Victoria Park Golf Complex, and although the weather didn’t play nice for us the whole day, the loved up couple had a wonderful day and didn’t let a bit of rain stop the party!
Being a couple that appreciates the natural and simple things in life, Natasha & Ben’s wedding reflected this in every way! Natasha’s dress was covered in beautiful lace and added the same elegance to the garment that suited Natasha’s personality so well. While getting ready at the hotel right on Brisbane Anzac Square, her radiant smile spoke volumes of the anticipation of the day to come. The girls were calm and relaxed and a little nervous, and the boys on the other side of the hotel also showed signs of the wedding day nerves – even the groomsmen were nervous on Ben’s behalf!
It turns out neither of them had a reason to be nervous as the ceremony went without a hitch and they finally tied the knot! If I didn’t think their smiles could get any bigger, I was proven wrong as they walked up the aisle hand in hand as husband and wife!
The rain held off long enough for us to get some great group shots of Ben and Natasha’s guests on the lawn, and the sky only started leaking as it was time to start the formal photos with the bridal party. However, this didn’t stop us; we found cover and got some great photos outside the venue as well as inside the grandiose Alabaster Room where their reception was set up for the evening festivities. And just as we defied the weather gods, they decided to smile upon us and grace us with dry and sunny weather for a while! We took to the golf course and cruised around in their buggies and got some wonderful photos in several beautiful locations.
The newlyweds entered the ceremony to wide smiles and excited ovation by their guests. They performed their cake cut, they had tear jerking speeches and celebrated their first dance as husband and wife with all eyes on them on the dance floor.
Congratulations, Natasha & Ben!
